Events & Job Opportunities

Each year, the Society normally organizes two meetings. The main scientific meeting is held in the Spring and another meeting in the Autumn. This may be a scientific meeting or workshop. The Society aims to hold the meetings in different locations throughout the UK, but the location depends on volunteers to host the meetings.

The meetings are to disseminate physiotherapy research and to highlight topics relevant to physiotherapy research. They are designed to encompass a range of experience from the most experienced leaders in a field to those new to research. The Society welcomes new researchers such as those who have recently completed Undergraduate or Masters research projects and who would wish to present their research work.

Spring 2007 Physiotherapy Research Society Scientific Meeting

The theme of this meeting is “Focus on Clinical Research”, it will be held on
Wednesday 28th March 2007 in Cardiff.

Autumn 2006 Physiotherapy Research Society Scientific Meeting

The Autumn 2006 meeting was held on Saturday 14th October 2006 in conjunction with the CSP Congress.

Autumn 2005 Physiotherapy Research Scientific Meeting

The Autumn 2005 meeting was held on Wednesday 16th November 2005 at Southampton University.
