About Us
Aim
The Society will promote research in physiotherapy, so that a firm scientific knowledge base is developed, from which more effective physiotherapy practice may be delivered and patient services enhanced. This will be achieved by encouraging high quality research relevant to physiotherapy practice and education and by fostering critical awareness throughout the profession. The Society will aim to disseminate the results of research both within the profession and beyond.
The committee is chaired by Dr Andy Kerr. Other committee members are listed under the link on the right.
Our Spring meeting is the main vehicle through which we hope to promote and support research activity. There is more information on this under the Events tab.
