About Us
Aim
The Society will promote research in physiotherapy, so that a firm scientific knowledge base is developed, from which more effective physiotherapy practice may be delivered and patient services enhanced. This will be achieved by encouraging high quality research relevant to physiotherapy practice and education and by fostering critical awareness throughout the profession. The Society will aim to disseminate the results of research both within the profession and beyond.
The committee is chaired by Dr Andy Kerr, the roles and members are shown in the terms of office document.
The annual general meeting is held each year at the Spring meeting. Minutes from the 2007 meeting are available here.
